"Going the extra mile" is an understatement when it comes to the ladies of Advocates for Education! Shellee and Joanna are always willing to show up for the residents in our facility. At times, it’s a short notice, but they make it work. The services they provide for the children in our facility, children outside of our facility, and children in other facilities are unmatched. We hope to continue our relationship with these wonderful ladies for many years to come!"

In August of 2024, we were able to tour Job Corps. We were extremely impressed with their programming! They offer high school completion, various trade programs, housing, meals, and so much more to students who enroll. Best of all, it is a FREE program for low-income students. Contact Job Corps for more information. https://atterbury.jobcorps.gov
"So often when you have lived a life of struggles and instability, you have no long term goals. Your vision of the future is very limited and often doesn't feel obtainable. We want more for our families! We want them to be able to dream and achieve! With the support and encouragement of Advocates for Education, our moms are starting to believe they deserve more and can see a path that leads beyond survival. Thank you to JoAnna and Shellee for giving us this opportunity!"
